We are a privately owned hospital providing a unique veterinary experience of approximately 50% client companion pets and 50% rescue pets that serves Martin County and surrounding areas. We are unique in that we have a large boarding facility for rescue dogs pulled from local shelters by northern rescue organizations that receive veterinary services from us before their transport.
We provide comprehensive veterinary care including examinations, full in-house laboratory evaluation, digital radiographic imaging, boarding and surgery.
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and personable veterinarian with strong communication skills who is eager to join a tight-knit team committed to a fresh culture base in teamwork, a positive work environment and a commitment to providing high quality medicine to an affluent and very supportive community of animal lovers.
This is a full-time position, and some weekends (Saturday mornings) will be required. Pay will be competitive and includes medical benefits, PTO, matching 401(k), holidays, licensure and fees, as well as, a generous CE stipend.
Located in the middle of nowhere but the center of everything, Martin County lies 80 miles from the Outer Banks, 90 miles to Raleigh, and 60 miles to the Virginia border. East Carolina University in Greenville and the Pamlico River in Little Washington are both less than a 30 min drive away.
